It is the responsibility of the Engagement Manager to ensure that relevant activities and controls are in place on the
Service Engagement to support Knowledge Management. The Engagement Manager must also evaluate if these activities are
adequate, and followed efficiently for effective Knowledge Management within the engagement. This includes monitoring
deficit in terms of availability of knowledge objects and knowledge sharing mechanisms, as well as whether these are
leveraged adequately.
The Engagement Manager should establish and maintain records in sufficient detail so the content and status of
Knowledge Management is known, also ensuring that relevant stakeholders have access to appropriate knowledge bases.
Depending on Service Engagement characteristics, this report may be directly included in the Service Engagement Status
Report rather than produced as a standalone document.
